Spotlight on Our Sponsors: Win a Year’s Supply of Cheese from Lactalis!

Here at the International Cheese Awards, we’re lucky enough to have a whole range of amazing sponsors, and this month we’re taking a closer look at one of our newest supporters – Lactalis. Read on to find out more about them, and how you can win a YEAR’S SUPPLY of their lovely dairy products in our June competition.

The Lactalis Range

You may think you haven’t heard of the French-based Lactalis Groupe, but they are actually the largest dairy products group in the world, with a huge range of products – many of which will be familiar to consumers in the UK. Their involvement in this year’s International Cheese Awards reflects their strong commitment to the dairy industry - since 1933 their aim has been to transform milk in all its forms into the best dairy products to be enjoyed by a broad range of customers.

Cheese remains their core business, accounting for 34% of turnover, but they also produce milk, yoghurt, butter and chilled desserts and there’s a good chance you’ve had one of their lines in your fridge at some point. My own personal favourites include Président Brie and Camembert, Seriously Strong Cheddar, Capricorn Somerset Goats Cheese, and the Dolcelatte and Mozzarella from the Galbani range, but I’d happily eat any of them – you can see the full range here. We’re thrilled to have their support as a new key sponsor at this year’s ICA – and even better, they’ve given us a lovely prize to give away…

Enter our June Competition with Lactalis

This month’s competition is a really special one – Lactalis understand that cheese is a monthly essential, not a luxury, and are therefore offering one lucky winner a year’s supply of their products. They have sensibly decided to put a cap on this so that people like me don’t utterly bankrupt them, but this is still an incredibly generous prize – a £10 voucher redeemable against any of the products in the Lactalis range every month for a year.

To be in with a chance of winning this amazing prize, keep an eye on our Twitter feed (@iCheeseAwards) for one of the special competition tweets this week, then simply retweet and make sure you’re following us. Whilst you’re on Twitter do say hello to @EthelTheGoat as well – she might even say hello back if she isn’t busy making Capricorn Goats Cheese! Winner will be drawn at random at 8pm on Saturday 13th June. Good luck everyone!
