Press Release April 2014: Schedule for Entries Released

With the International Cheese Awards just three months away, it’s time for producers to start entering their finest creations for the biggest cheese show in the world!

Last year’s show attracted 4286 entries from 27 different countries across 283 categories, with a delicious Claxstone Smooth Blue produced by Long Clawson Dairy finally judged as Supreme Champion. We’re all looking forward to seeing (and tasting!) this year’s challengers – entry forms can now be downloaded from The International Cheese Awards website at http://www.internationalcheeseawards.co.uk/content/trade.

James Martin Press Session

We’re also delighted that James Martin, one of our three top chefs lined up for this year’s show, will be available for a press session on the morning of Wednesday 30th July during Show Day. Further details to be released nearer the time, but do let me know if you’d be interested in coming along and speaking to James.

Chef Demo Tickets On Sale Soon

Finally, just a reminder that tickets for show day can be purchased via the Nantwich Show website (http://nantwichshow.co.uk/buy-tickets/) with VP badges due to go on sale next week. These Vice President badges cost £20 and offer admission to the show as well as admission to the VP and Sponsors enclosure with its own catering, bar and toilet facilities, garden area adjacent to the Main Ring and Grandstand seating. Tickets for the chef demonstrations will be released once the timetable has been finalised - this should be within the next two weeks so keep an eye on our twitter feed @icheeseawards for further details.
