June Competition – Win a Hamper of Goodies from Belton Farm

With this year’s International Cheese Awards now just over a month away, it’s all stations go in Nantwich to get everything ready for the biggest and best cheese show in the world. And we’re not the only ones who’ve been busy – our friends at Belton Farm have been hard at it, designing their new packaging, logo and website. We think it looks great, and are delighted that Belton have agreed to celebrate their great new look in this month’s ICA Twitter competition.

Award Winning Farmhouse Cheeses

Belton Farm – Great British Cheesemakers have been producing cheese just down the road in Shropshire for nearly 100 years now, with the farm in the safe hands of the Beckett family since 1922. Each of the cheeses in the range is matured on-site in a purpose built cold store, with the range including a lovely nutty Red Leicester, a perfectly light and crumbly Cheshire and the smooth and buttery Double Gloucester. Belton uphold high animal welfare standards and can therefore display the Assured Food Standards Red Tractor symbol – their cows are very carefully looked after, and are turned out to grass in April, staying out as long as possible, usually until November (and who can blame them for wanting to come back inside as winter looms). Belton Farm combine this respect for welfare with an understanding of the rhythms of the countryside and a keen focus on innovation, earning them plenty of loyal customers as well as countless awards (including more than a few at the International Cheese Awards).

To celebrate this proud history (and the sexy new packaging), Belton Farm are giving one lucky follower the chance to win a basket containing a selection of their cheeses as seen in the photo here. If you’re not lucky enough to be our winner, you can pick up their lovely cheese in most major supermarkets nationwide and in a number of local stockists in and around Cheshire.

To be in with a chance of winning this great prize, keep an eye on our Twitter feed (@iCheeseAwards) for one of the special competition tweets over the coming week, then simply retweet and make sure you’re following both us and @BeltonCheese. Winner will be drawn at random at 8pm on Sunday 25th June - UK residents only please. Good luck everyone!
