July Competition: it’s nearly time for the International Cheese Awards 2015!

So it’s July – which means that it’s almost time for the 118th International Cheese Awards in Nantwich! This year’s show is the biggest yet and that’s official – we already knew we were the largest cheese show in the world, but we’ve been breaking all our own records, with a staggering 4,611 entries (a 3.5% increase on last year’s all-time high). And as usual, it’s a truly international affair, with entries from 274 exhibitors (13.5 % up on last year) from an amazing 31 Countries – the most ever seen at the ICA!

And with such a great show coming up on July 28th and 29th, it seems only right to mark the occasion with a really great prize…

Enter our July Competition with Delamere Dairy

One lucky winner will receive a Delamere Dairy hamper similar to the one shown here, including a selection of their lovely goats' cheeses, butter, crackers, chutney, a bottle of Goats do Roam wine and a cuddly toy goat (which I’m very tempted to kidnap – sorry - for myself). Delamere Dairy, based in Knutsford, have a long and proud history with us here at the International Cheese Awards, winning reserve champion with their stunning goats’ cheese in 2005 as well as many other successes over the years. They are named after the beautiful Delamere Forest where Liz and Roger Sutton started Delamere Dairy with just three goats - almost thirty years on, the company now offers a wide range of dairy products: as well as cheese, milk, butter and yoghurts made with goats’ milk, they also sell sterilised cows' milk. If you’re not lucky enough to win our competition, you can find the Delamere range in most major supermarkets – full details can be found on their website.

To be in with a chance of winning this amazing prize, keep an eye on our Twitter feed (@iCheeseAwards) for one of the special competition tweets this week, then simply retweet and make sure you’re following both us and @DelamereDairy. Winner will be drawn at random at 8pm on Saturday 18th July. Good luck everyone!
