International Cheese Awards Press Release June 2017: Book your place at this year’s show!

Less than a month to go now until the 120th International Cheese Awards on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th July, and it’s time to make sure you secure your place at the biggest and best cheese show in the world. As well as Trade and Judging Day on the 25th we’ve got an amazing Show Day lined up on the 26th, when we combine with the Nantwich agricultural show to bring you a spectacular day out – here’s how to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the action!

Book your place on Trade and Judging Day

Did you know that if you’re a dairy professional or involved in the food industry you can attend Trade and Judging Day on July 25th absolutely free? It only takes a couple of minutes to register by completing the online form via our website, and will help you avoid the queues on the day! If you’re very quick, you might also be able to book a place for the Trade Day Lunch – this is always one of the highlights of the show and always sells out. Lunch consists of a fizz and canapés reception at 12.45pm followed by lunch at 1.15pm, with cold meats and assorted salads, choice of sweet, cheese and biscuits (of course!), coffee and mints. Lunch will conclude with the announcement of the ICA Supreme Retailer 2017 and the ICA Reserve and Supreme Champion 2017. It’s a great affair every year, and costs £32 + VAT per person, bookable via our website.

Tickets now on sale for Show Day

Show Day takes place on Wednesday 26th July, when we join forces with Nantwich Agricultural Show and throw open the magnificent cheese marquee to the public. One ticket gets you access to both events – truly the best value in town, particularly if you manage to snap up one of the early bird advance tickets. These are available via the Nantwich Show website, and cost just £15 for adults, £12 for seniors, £5 for Juniors, or the great value Family ticket, which admits two adults and two juniors for just £35. You can also pick up a ticket for one of James Martin’s cookery demonstrations in the Le Gruyere Cookery Theatre – these are just £5 each and guarantee you a reserved seat (worth doing, as James’ shows are always packed!). We also have Will Holland, Sean Wilson and Jonathan Harrison appearing in our cookery theatre, but – even better – these shows are all free of charge and included within the price of your general admission ticket.

Looking Ahead

We’ve already got one eye on next year’s show, so for more details about how to get involved with ICA 2018 as an exhibitor or a sponsor contact, or email Liz at if you’d like to attend as press.
