International Cheese Awards Press Release February 2017: How to Get Involved with ICA2017!

Just five months to go now until the 120th International Cheese Awards takes place in Nantwich on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th July – it might sound a long time off, but a lot of planning goes into making the biggest and the best cheese show in the world even better each year than the one before. Looking forward to getting involved? Here’s how…

Come along on the day

The International Cheese Awards really does have something for everyone, whether you’re in the dairy industry or just love cheese! Judging, Trade and Press Day falls on Tuesday 25th July, and will see around 200 experts judge this year’s entries in the search for our Supreme Champion – last year we had a record 5000 entries from 27 different countries. It also provides an opportunity for dairy professionals to network over our famously good lunch (see below) as well as exhibit in our mighty Cheese Marquee and catch up with all the latest news and innovations. Then on Wednesday 26th we fling the doors open to the public for Show Day and the chance to sample hundreds of different cheeses, chat to producers and suppliers and take part in cookery demonstrations with celebrity chefs. Tickets for Show Day will be available soon – and don’t forget, one ticket gets you into the UK’s biggest one-day agricultural show too!

The Trade Day lunch, which this year takes place on Tuesday 25th July, is always one of the highlights of the show – a chance for more than 1200 dairy professionals, producers and retailers to catch up and network over a famously good spread and, of course, the world’s best cheeseboard! Sponsoring the Trade Day lunch is a great opportunity to promote your brand - we aim to give your company maximum exposure with your name and logo displayed on hanging banners, table number cards, lunch tickets, menus and the stage display banner.
