February Competition: Win a Valentine’s Hamper from Belton Cheese

So, Valentine’s Day is on the horizon and already some of us are dreading its arrival. All the restaurants will be full of couples, many of them not talking; not to mention all the pressure of finding the perfect gift if you are dating and all the sorrow of being ignored by the postman if you’re not. Luckily, we’re here to make everything better by teaming up with Belton Cheese to offer a great Valentine’s prize that you can either share with your loved one or – even better – eat all by yourself.

Belton Cheese are one of our sponsors, and are based at Belton Farm in the Shropshire countryside where they have produced farmhouse cheese since the early eighteen hundreds, stopping only for a brief period during the Second World War. They now produce a huge range of cheeses, each of which is matured on-site in a purpose built cold store, and the high welfare standards upheld on the farm mean that Belton can display the Assured Food Standards Red Tractor symbol (and that we can eat their cheese with a clear conscience). They specialise in Cheshire but the whole range is worth trying – I know this for a fact, as I have done it!

You can see the full range of Belton Cheese on their website www.beltoncheese.co.uk, but one lucky winner will win a basket containing their White Cheshire, Red Fox, Mature Cheddar and Shropshire Blue. Even if you’re not a winner, you can pick up some of their lovely cheese in most major supermarkets nationwide and in a number of local stockists in and around Cheshire – no better way to celebrate the Feast of St Valentine!

How to Enter

To enter, simply follow both the ICA (@icheeseawards) and Belton Cheese (@BeltonCheese) on Twitter, and retweet one of the competition tweets from the ICA timeline. One winner (who for delivery purposes must live in the UK mainland) will be drawn randomly from all retweets received by 8pm on Saturday 14th February 2015 – good luck!
