Easter Competition: Win a Cheese Hamper from Divo Italiano Cheese AND a Signed Book by Aldo Zilli

Last year’s International Cheese Awards was a busy old day – press tent to run, celebrity chefs to look after (yes, I know – it’s a hard life). When I eventually escaped from the media area for a few minutes towards the end of the day, I went on a mad shopping dash around the cheese marquee to sniff out some bargains to take home (yep – I thought they’d pay me in cheese but turns out I have to buy my own) and found myself at the Divo Italiano stall. I bought so much here I could hardly carry it all, and had to create a stinky, cheesy corner in the press tent to stash all my goodies in – it would be nice to think I will have learned my lesson for this year’s awards, but I plan on buying as much, if not more, than in 2014.

If you’re not familiar with Divo Italiano, you’ll almost certainly have heard of restauranteur and celebrity chef, Aldo Zilli. He’s in charge of selecting the products that make it into the range, with a focus on modern Italian cheeses likely to particularly appeal to British tastes – and he’s already chosen some belters. The DIVO Cubed Gorgonzola PDO Piccante is particularly lovely, and won a Gold award as best in class for Italian Soft Cheeses at the International Cheese Awards in 2013. We’re delighted to say that Aldo will be manning the Divo stall once again at this year’s show – a perfect opportunity to say hello to the great man and pick up some cheese while you’re at it.

WIN a Cheese Hamper with International Cheese Awards and Divo Italiano Cheese

You can see the full range of Divo Italiano Cheese here on their website, but one lucky winner will win a basket containing a number of their lovely cheeses. The actual selection will depend upon availability, but will definitely include ALL the Divo Range (Cubed Gorgonzola, Ricotta twin pots, Parmigiano Reggiano EXTRA, Vegetarian grated Italian hard cheese and Coarsely grated heart of Parmigiano Reggiano P.D.O.) as well as some extra goodies AND an Aldo Zilli signed recipe book. The image you see here is for illustration purposes and the final product could vary slightly from the picture – but it still gives you a pretty good idea of HOW EXCITED our winner will be. If you don't win ythen you can order Divo products online from Ocado.
