August Competition – Celebrate this year’s Supreme Champion at the International Cheese Awards

If you were following last week’s record-breaking show, you’ll already know that Buxton based Bradburys Cheese distributor scooped the top prize for Roquefort Papillion Revelation. The French Ewe’s milk blue cheese was awarded Supreme Champion by a panel of expert judges on Tuesday 25th July at the awards in Nantwich, Cheshire. The awards had record entries with 5,685 cheeses, making it the largest cheese show in the world and that victory all the more special.

Bradburys Sourcing Director Richard Paul commented, “this Papillion cheese is a stunning product with a perfect blend of sharp tangy blue and creamy, tasty cheese”. Bradburys also swept up 9 trophies, 24 gold medals, 16 silver and 11 bronze for their array of stunning cheeses during the show.
